Aaron Brown
Lead Pastor
Pastor Aaron Brown grew up in Princeton, KY where he gave his life to Christ at 13 years old.
He attended University of Louisville for his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology. Aaron later earned his Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Studies from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
He and his wife, Jenny were married in 2005. Jenny has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Louisville and Masters Degree from the University of Kentucky. She serves the community as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Pastor Aaron has served in every imaginable role in church ministry, and has served as the Lead Pastor of Marion Baptist Church since November of 2018.
They are now joined in this photo with their four awesome children: Mitchell, Barrett, Parker, and Birdie.
Shawn Holeman
Associate & Youth Pastor
As a native to Crittenden County, Shawn came to Marion Baptist Church in 2011. Shortly after joining the church he was asked to serve on a committee in search of a Children’s Minister. Throughout a lengthy search to fill this position Shawn felt the Lord calling him to serve. With his love for children it was hard not to see God’s hand at work through this process as the Lord called him to full time ministry and to serve in the position. Shawn has been serving at MBC as
Student/ Children’s Minister since January 2012.
God has made it clear to Shawn that his purpose at MBC is to come along side parents and help them in laying a strong foundation for their children built on Christ. While at MBC he has helped to establish Centershot, which is an archery ministry. This ministry has opened opportunities for staff members and archery instructor’s to teach archery in the local schools and to help with after school programs.
Shawn has been married to his wonderful wife Lisa since 2001. They have two wonderful children, Hunter and Georgia. Shawn loves spending time with his children. He coaches baseball, softball and basketball. Hunting and fishing is also a big part of his life as he has a passion for the outdoors and loves sharing the experience with others.
